What is Once a Moon?

Once a Moon Jewelry is created with real lunar meteorites that fell to Earth and have been embedded into our pieces to create a gift that's out of this world. Specifically, our pieces use moon dust from the Lunar meteorite NWA 8687 found in Northwest Africa where it has been documented and recorded. These handmade pieces are crafted in our shop in Orlando, FL where no two pieces are alike. We've created a beautiful gift that brings more meaning and love than anything on Earth. How do I order?

Great question. First, we recommend you start off by browsing through our collection menu to find your perfect piece. Our collections currently include three beautiful necklaces. Once you have found your piece, simply choose the chain length you desire and select "Add to cart". You will then be asked to input your billing and shipping information as well as your email address so we can send the tracking information to you.

I have allergies. Is it safe for me to wear Once a Moon Jewelry?

Yes, the rhodium plating on our jewelry makes our products hypoallergenic. The rhodium plating metal makes it more scratch resistant and, when used on silver jewelry, less prone to tarnishing.

How are you able to purchase this material? 

Our moon dust comes from the Lunar Meteorite NWA 12630 that was found in Northwest Africa. This Lunar Meteorite was documented and placed in the Meteoritical Society Archive. For more information about how we acquired our Lunar meteorite click here.


What payment methods do you accept?

Once a Moon accepts most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.


When will my order ship?

Orders are usually processed and shipped in 3-4 business days. This includes expedited shipping orders, domestic orders, and international orders. Due to the nature of pre-order and personalized items, shipping delays may occur. Once your order ships, we will send you a shipping confirmation by email and/or by SMS message. Your shipping confirmation will include information about your order and your tracking number.


Can I change or cancel my order?

Once you submit your order, we are unable to make changes to the order. If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact customer support by phone immediately after placing the order to request a cancellation. Otherwise, your order will be processed and shipped. However, in accordance with our return policy, you may return the applicable item for a refund. Once your order has been canceled/refunded, you are welcome to reorder with the desired changes. 


What if I'm not satisfied with my purchase? 

We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund within 30 days, hassle free. Domestic orders may be returned free of charge. Please contact customer support to request a return form and a free domestic return label.
